Motorsports has long been a driving force behind technological innovation, STEAM, with many advancements influencing everyday life. From refining aerodynamics for better fuel efficiency and stability to pioneering lightweight materials like carbon fiber, racing has shaped vehicle design and performance. Safety systems such as traction control and anti-lock braking systems (ABS) originated in motorsports and are now standard in consumer vehicles. Hybrid and electric powertrains, first developed for races like Le Mans and Formula E, have revolutionized sustainable transportation. Tire technologies optimized for varying conditions have improved durability, grip, and safety on the road. Motorsports continues to serve as a testbed for breakthroughs that enhance modern engineering and mobility.
